Blue Tongue IT & Cyber is a one-person IT and security business run by Daniel Harris in South Pasadena, California. This notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you visit this website

• There are no forms, no accounts, and no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Our web host, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly visit counts, which don't use cookies.
• The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

When you email, call or text us

• We use what you send (your name, contact details and what you tell us about your business) only to reply to you and to provide the services you ask for.
• Email runs on Google Workspace and calls and texts on Google Voice, which store messages on our behalf.
• Please don't send patient records, passwords or other sensitive details by email or text. If the work needs them, we'll agree on a safer way to share them first.

When you become a client

• We keep your information confidential, as our written agreement with you describes, and ask only for the access a job needs.
• For medical practices, we sign a Business Associate Agreement before any access to patient systems, and we protect health information as HIPAA requires.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
• We share it only with the service providers named above, with your permission, or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it to meet a legal or contractual duty. California residents have these rights under state law. Email daniel@bluetonguecyber.com or call (626) 246-6536.
